Depending on the type of fish being chased, fishing baits can be used whole, chunked, or in strips. In most cases, the size of the fishing bait corresponds to the size of the fish that is being targeted. Fishing lures commonly used include a variety of crustaceans, worms, clams, sea fleas, eels, and squid. To catch fish, the most usually used baits are crab and shrimp, which are both crustaceans.
